Moscow named a new commander for its invasion of Ukraine on Wednesday, with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov replacing General Sergei Surovikin, who was appointed only in October to lead the invasion and oversaw heavy attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
