Protesters entered the building of the U.S. Capitol as the lawmakers were preparing to count Electoral College votes for the 2020 presidential election. The protesters, who were marching with Trump flags and paraphernalia, entered the building hours after a rally by the White House, where President Donald Trump addressed a crowd of his supporters for over an hour, and urged them to walk toward to Capitol together. PBS NewsHour’s Lisa Desjardins reported from inside the Capitol and spoke with one of the protesters.
