The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be one of the most spectacular world cups of all time. And that's not just because of its competitive matches but also because of the fantastic technology employed.

Here are the five most important technologies to be used in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Seven of the eight stadiums where the 2022 Qatar World Cup takes place feature advanced cooling tech. Thanks to this technology, the atmosphere inside the stadium will be at the optimum temperature for both players and the audience. And Stadium 974 might disappear after the tournament.

Because of its modular structure, it is entirely possible to disassemble Stadium 974. In its construction, modular steel frames and cargo containers were used. The stadium's design is aesthetically pleasing and economical because it uses less material than a conventional stadium.

And, the 2022 World Cup's official playing ball, Al Rihla, is filled with cutting edge technology. A linked ball system transmits real-time data to VAR officials about the match ball. This technology is being used in conjunction with FIFA's new Semi-Automatic Offside Technology. There is the brand-new Adidas Suspension System with motion sensors in the center of the ball.
Also, in the 2022 World Cup, there are technological innovations on the field as well. FIFA has previously announced that a semi-automatic offside technology will be used during the World Cup in Qatar.

Last but not least, visually impaired football fans also have access to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. A revolutionary product called 'Bonocle converts digital content from the World Cup to braille, allowing visually impaired fans to access and enjoy the World Cup.

About This Video:
I built a trebuchet, a type of catapult that uses a counter weight to store gravitational potential energy which is then used to fire a projectile via a sling. I first built the frame which was made of two tripods set close together. They were of wood and lashed together with cane. Then I made a basket from cane to hold the large rocks that would act as the counterweight. For the sling I used bark fiber from dead branches of a certain type of tree. The bark was stripped and the inner bark woven into rope. The rope was then made into a sling using 2 knots and thinner rope was used to weave the sling pouch. A simple toggle release was used hold the throwing arm in position and act as the trigger. The counter weight was then filled with rocks and pulled into position to be held by the toggle. A shot-put sized stone was then placed into the sling pouch. When the toggle was released the stone would be launched 18- 20 meters (the length of the clearing) but could undoubtedly shoot further if more weight was added. Targets were set up and destroyed. Range can be adjusted by adding or subtracting weight from the basket, while shooting to the left or right is done by turning the whole catapult while the basket is empty. The whole build took 5 weeks, the hardest part being collecting the bark fiber to make the rope. The trebuchet is a simple but effective way to deliver payloads to a target destination.

About Primitive Technology:
Primitive technology is a hobby where you build things in the wild completely from scratch using no modern tools or materials. These are the strict rules: If you want a fire, use a fire stick - An axe, pick up a stone and shape it - A hut, build one from trees, mud, rocks etc. The challenge is seeing how far you can go without utilizing modern technology. I do not live in the wild, but enjoy building shelter, tools, and more, only utilizing natural materials. To find specific videos, visit my playlist tab for building videos focused on pyrotechnology, shelter, weapons, food & agriculture, tools & machines, and weaving & fiber.

50 Cent Gear, Merch & More:

Curtis is the third studio album by American rapper 50 Cent; it was released on September 11, 2007, by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The album features production from Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Timbaland, among others. Music writers have noted that 50 Cent divides between "hard" and "soft" songs on the album.

Curtis received generally mixed reviews from music critics upon release. The album debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 691,000 copies in its first week. After years of slumping sales, the album's competition with Kanye West's Graduation (2007) and the resulting record breaking performances both albums displayed was considered to be a "great day for hip hop."

Perovskite solar cells might revolutionize how humans generate energy from sunlight.
First 200 people get 20% off annual premium subscription.

In this video we'll explore the world's fastest improving new solar technology, and provide an exclusive peek inside the lab of a team working on this breakthrough material.

Imagine an inexpensive solution of perovskite crystals that can make a photovoltaic cell so thin, that just half a cup of liquid would be enough to power a house. A solar panel so lightweight, that it can be balanced atop a soap bubble. That is known as the holy grail of solar energy. So when will we see perovskite solar panels used for a solar power system for your home? Maybe sooner than you expect.

Currently, only 2% of global electricity comes from solar power. And 90% of that, comes from crystalline silicon-based solar panels, the dominant material technology.

While abundant, silicon has downsides related to efficiency, manufacturing complexity, and pollution that prevent it from being an absolute no brainer. Emerging thin films like perovskites present a bright future. Imagine solar cars like a solar tesla, solar yachts, or a solar plane.

Solar cell technologies can be classified into two categories, wafer-based or thin-film cells. Perovskites are the leading contender in emerging thin films. Topics covered in this video include applications, perovskite crystal structure, working principle of perovskite solar cells, efficiency limits, multi-junction solar cells, shockley-queisser limit, how solar works, solar simulator, band gap, manufacturing, vapor deposition, how solar panels are made, and the future of solar power.

The green screen is a Hollywood staple. Should it be?

It’s easy to complain about overreliance on special effects, but for projects that require impossible-to-film environments or have incredibly expensive shots, how do you get the flexibility of green screens without the drawbacks?

Charmaine Chan has worked on one of the possible answers. Vox's Phil Edwards spoke to her about her career and how it's at the forefront of a big technological shift. As a compositor for venerable effects house Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), she’s worked on films like The Last Jedi, assembling various digital elements into a beautiful, seamless image. Her job changed on The Mandalorian, one of the first shows to use ILM’s upgrade for the green screen: LED panels that used video game engine technology to place a realistic-looking world behind the actors.

It was a huge improvement, because green screens actually have a lot of drawbacks. Removing the green screen is never as quick as visual effects artists would hope. It also casts green light upon the set and actors. Even substitutes for a green screen, like projecting an image onto a screen behind the actor, fail to dynamically respond to camera movements the way they would in the real world.

ILM’s solution fixes a lot of those problems, and it also led to creative breakthroughs in which the old Hollywood order of a TV show or movie, in which VFX came last, was suddenly reversed. Now, artists like Charmaine are alongside actors, set designers, and other crew members during filming. That collaboration means that this technology doesn’t just eliminate a screen — it eliminates a creative barrier.

Watch the above video to see how it happens.

The history of mankind is quite impressive. We have come a long way but it’s undeniable that the ancient civilizations that existed before us are all brilliant and amazing. They’ve built many incredible things and some of their inventions were far too advanced for their time. Archeologists and historians can easily explain most of the ancient inventions but there’s still a plethora of mysteries and questions out there. Most of the time, people attribute unexplainable things to extraterrestrial beings, but maybe it’s about time we give our ancestors more credit. From the Damascus Steel to the Ancient Flying Machine, here are 15 oldest technologies that scientists can’t explain.
