Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau answered questions on first question period of 2021 as Members of Parliament return to the House of Commons on Monday following a month-long break to face the ramification of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the threat of a possible election.
Trudeau faced questions following the resignation of his appointee Governor General Julie Payette amid a "toxic" workplace investigation, and from opposition parties on the delay of Pfizer’s vaccine shipments as health authorities across the country continue to report high numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths daily.
