The state of emergency in Ontario expires Tuesday as parts of the province begin to gradually reopen amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but for some businesses it could be too late.
The Canadian Federation of Independent Business reports 60,000 of its members have shut down, and warns that the number could rise if the federal government doesn’t revamp its support programs.
